Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, established in November 1981, commenced as a small Bible study with only 20 attendees led by Pastor Joe Focht. Through God's abundant blessings and the power of His Word, this Bible study grew exponentially, eventually reaching hundreds, and then thousands of individuals.

Currently, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia sees an attendance of approximately 8,000 adults, with an enrollment of over 4,000 children in our Sunday School ministry. Over time, the influence of Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia has resulted in the establishment of an additional 20 Calvary Chapel Fellowships throughout the Delaware Valley area.
